The hotel is very close to Akabane train station, it is super easy to find, just a couple of minutes to walk. You can actually see the hotel building from the station. Our room was quite small, but the standard was really good. and It felt new and fresh. I appreciated that the noise level in our room was very low. Our room was on the 5th floor. There was two breakfast options to choose, Japanese or western style. The japanese option was really delicious! Traditional, healthy and simple! Me and my wife enjoyed it every morning of our stay. The city area around the station have a lot of restaurants and shops within some minutes of walk from the hotel. You can also find a lot of izakaya´s , beer bars and cafe´s in the area east of the station. Actually we use to book hotels in the shinagawa area, when we are visiting Tokyo. But the Akabane area is so much better. We will definately choose the Akabane next time we are visiting Tokyo. Akabane looks a bit remote from the "famous" places in Tokyo when you look at the Tokyo city map. But actually the train connection to Ueno and Tokyo station is super convenient. And from those two stations the Tokyo subway lines lays open for further exploration! I really do recommend the Hotel Wing International in Akabane, to travellers that would like to stay some days in Tokyo! All the staff was really nice, friendly and helpful.

At first thought, and first staying in Japan I was afraid that we will be far from reasonable transit line in Tokyo. When we arrived and took off from Akabane Station we was shocked that it was 3 minutes walk from the station. Hotel staff was at very high level, even we are not fluent in Japanese, they did everything to help us or answer ours questions. Breakfast was good, we had choice between more European style food and more local food. The room was clean, everyday the cleaning staff were preparing our room to be clean when we come back from sightseeing. Also every 3 days there was general cleaning day, which changes our bedsheets, take out trash and make everything to make us feel like we just checked in - the idea of making it on 3 day gap is also very ecological and it kinda make us feel like local place, it won’t look like the hospital who need to make up general clean every day. The truth is that the hotel was fantastic, not only because the location, rooms, food choice at the place but because the staff who was so kind-hearted that I don’t think we had experienced it before anywhere else. Hope to get to Japan once again, and I think this hotel will be our must-have.

I had a very comfortable stay! Especially the bed was very comfy - I slept really well, I still miss it haha! Everything was clean, they provided fresh towels everyday. The staff was kind and ready to help! I had a view on the train rails and I enjoyed watching trains every evening after coming back to the hotel (the windows are soundproof so there was no noise). It was raining some days but there were umbrellas to borrow in the hotel. The location is good too, I comfortably traveled (by train) where I wanted to go to.

The location of the hotel was both convenient and central. It was a very short walk from the nearest JR Station, so for those planning to rely on a JR Pass, travelling to and from this hotel is very convenient. The neighbourhood of Akabane is also a good distance away from the busiest parts of Tokyo; it is about a half hour train ride into places like Akihabara or Shibuya, but also far enough away that it feels more quiet at night.

Staff were so helpful when we ask about the firework event on 30th Sep 2023. He knows about the fireworks event rundown so well. I was expecting my lost and found items and Ms Yoshida who were helping me did her very best to help. The night shift staff on the 28th Sep 2023 also help a lot about confirming my lost and found items in my previous hotel by making phone calls were great. He was so patient.
